Program is open to: Aestheticians, Hair Stylists, Cosmetologists, Nail Techs and the General Public (18 and over, high school graduate).
This comprehensive diploma program is designed for individuals who wish to begin a career in dermatology clinics, skin care facilities, aesthetic laser clinics, medical spas, plastic surgeons’ offices, physicians’ offices as well as day spas, wellness centers, destination spas and of course numerous entrepreneurial opportunities.

Program Information
Vanstone Scott College offers a comprehensive Medical Aesthetics Diploma Program with specialized training in Oncology Aesthetics. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide services for clients with a wide range of needs, including those undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. We are a fully registered private school under the Department of Education in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our program is designed to prepare students for careers in the growing fields of general and medical aesthetics. Through hands-on learning and theory-based instruction, students develop the expertise needed for today’s competitive job market.
This diploma program is ideal for those seeking employment in dermatology clinics, skin care facilities, aesthetic laser clinics, medical spas, plastic surgeons’ offices, physicians’ offices, day spas, wellness centers, and destination spas, as well as for those pursuing their own entrepreneurial goals.
Students gain experience in both traditional and advanced aesthetic treatments. This includes microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, photo rejuvenation, acne treatments, laser tattoo removal, skin tightening, body contouring, and other therapies commonly used in the medical aesthetics and oncology aesthetics environment.

Fees
A $100.00 application fee is required per course/program.
(There is a $5 processing fee on top of the application fee which unfortunately cannot go towards your tuition). Remaining tuition due on 1st day of class.
